Using Search

In order to simplify your search for certain details, we have set up a list with tips.

General search

In first instance, the search function is reporting product files that include your complete search term. The second step considers all files which contain only parts of the search term. This function may be influenced by extending or limiting terms.

Extending or limiting

A plus sign (+) in front of a word that this part must be included in search result. Correspondingly, a minus sign (-) excludes this term.

Capitalization

The search function does not discern capital- or small letters.

Placeholder

The star sign (*) is placeholder for any string.

Examples

ruler -plastic
reports all articles (preferably rulers), which are not made of plastic.

emergency*
reports all articles, which contain the term 'emergency'

note* +wood
reports all articles which has to contain the term 'wood', preferably in addition the term 'note'.
